Crystal Clear Hot Glass Cleaner is made for that job. Used regularly it also reduces how much stain builds up in the first place, which makes the glass easier to keep on top of. A clear window is half the point of a wood fire.
It is easy to use, non-hazardous and non-toxic. It also lifts stubborn grease and food spills from combustion stove tops, oven and microwave doors, ceramic glass cooktops and porcelain enamel, so the bottle earns its place in the kitchen too.
