Salt air is what kills furniture in Sydney
Sydney has two problems that most of the country does not, and they both attack the frame first.
Salt. Cafes, surf clubs and venues within a few kilometres of the water get salt on their furniture whether you can see it or not. It finds bare metal, cheap fasteners and any chip in a coating. Cheap steel furniture on a beachfront terrace in Bondi, Manly, Cronulla or Coogee starts bleeding rust in one season. Powder-coated aluminium, UV-stabilised polypropylene and resin reinforced with glass fibre do not rust, so check the frame material before you buy.
Humidity and pool splash. A Sydney summer keeps everything damp, and pool decks add chlorine and salt water splash on the underside where nobody wipes. Moulded polypropylene and resin seats dry quickly and rinse clean with fresh water.
One more thing specific to Sydney. Space. Footpath dining strips, small courtyards and rooftop bars across the inner city. A lot of Sydney venues need to seat six in a footprint built for four. Round tables, bench seating and stackable chairs do that, and they pack down at close.

Bulky items go with specialist furniture couriers. Delivery is to the ground-floor entrance only, with no carry-up, unpacking or assembly. In Sydney the access check matters more than most places. Laneway entrances, small goods lifts and streets where the truck cannot stop are all common. Measure the tightest point, not the doorway.
Goods arrive flat-packed unless the product page says otherwise, and you assemble them. We do not offer an assembly or installation service.

What outdoor furniture suits a coastal Sydney venue?
Powder-coated aluminium, UV-stabilised polypropylene and resin reinforced with glass fibre are the safest choices near the water because they do not rust. Avoid untreated or painted steel, and rinse furniture with fresh water now and then to keep salt off.
Will outdoor furniture fit a small cafe terrace or footpath area?
Often yes, if you choose the right shape. Round tables seat more people in a tight square than rectangular ones. Two-seat tables can be pushed together for larger groups. Bench seating and stackable chairs take less room and pack away at close. Product pages list the sizes we have.
Can you assemble or install the furniture?
No. Delivery is to the ground-floor entrance only and does not include assembly. Goods arrive flat-packed unless the product page says otherwise, and we do not offer an assembly or installation service.
What if something arrives damaged?
Contact us, with photos if you can, and we will sort it out. Please report it within 5 business days of delivery so we can claim with the carrier. Later reports are still accepted. Faulty, damaged, incorrect or missing goods are covered under the Australian Consumer Law: for a major failure you can choose a refund or replacement, and for a minor failure we will repair or replace the item, at our option, within a reasonable time. If we don't fix it within a reasonable time, you can have it fixed elsewhere and recover reasonable costs, or reject the goods and get a refund. We don't accept returns for change of mind, so please check sizes, colours and specifications before ordering. Where a product page states a warranty period, the manufacturer's warranty applies too.
