An outdoor fitout is the whole job in one go. You have a deck, a patio, a courtyard, a balcony or a venue with nothing in it. We plan what goes where, quote the furniture, deliver it and install it.
The layout and the quote cost nothing. There is no obligation to buy anything at the end of it.
It works the same way for a family home and for a cafe, pub, hotel or body corporate. The only difference is the number of seats.

1. New deck, patio or venue?
Most people get stuck at the same point. The space is finished, the budget is set, and nobody is sure what actually fits. Buy the wrong size table and you find out on delivery day.
That is the problem this service solves. You do not have to guess.
2. Send us your space
A photo and the measurements is enough. Width, depth, and where the doors, steps, posts and downpipes sit.
A builder's plan works. A floor plan from your architect works. So does a rough sketch on paper with the numbers written on it. Email it to hello@neatfurniture.com.au or send it through the contact form.
We reply within one business day to confirm we have what we need and to tell you when the layout will land.
3. We plan your layout
You get a layout drawn to your dimensions in 2D, and in 3D where it helps you picture it.
It shows what fits, how many people it seats, and how much room is left to walk behind a pulled-out chair. Shade goes on the plan. So does heating, and the BBQ if you want one.
If the first version is not right, say so and we will change it.
4. Furniture supplied and installed
The layout comes with an itemised quote. Every piece on it links to its product page, so you can read the materials, the exact dimensions and the care instructions before you agree to anything.
Approve it and we deliver. Installation is available and it is quoted with the layout, so you see that cost up front rather than after the truck arrives.

- Installation. Assembly and placement on site, quoted with the layout.
- 30 day returns with no restocking fee, and the full manufacturer warranty on every product.
What it does not include
We are an online store, so a few things are worth saying plainly before you send anything through.
- We do not visit the site. The layout is planned from your photos and your measurements. That keeps it free and fast, and it means the numbers you send us need to be right.
- We do not do building work. No decking, paving, pergola construction, electrical or gas plumbing. We supply and install furniture.
- We do not have a showroom. There is nowhere to come and sit on it first. Every product page carries full dimensions, materials and care instructions so you can judge a piece without seeing it.

Cafes, pubs, restaurants, hotels, clubs, retirement villages and body corporate common areas.
Commercial layouts are a seat count problem before they are a design problem. How many covers do you need, how wide do the service lanes have to be, and where does the shade have to sit so the afternoon sun does not empty half the tables.
Our range includes commercial rated tables and chairs, resin chairs that stack, cantilever umbrellas that clear the table, and outdoor heating for the cold months. Send us the floor plan and the seat target and we will work back from that.

What to send us
- The measurements of the space. Width and depth, plus anything fixed in the middle of it.

- What the space is for. Dining, lounging, both, or a bar area.

- A rough budget range, if you have one. It saves us quoting the wrong end of the range.

Outdoor fitout FAQs
How much does an outdoor fitout cost?
The layout and the quote are free. You only pay for the furniture you decide to buy, at our normal listed prices, plus installation if you want it. There is no design fee and no minimum order to get a layout.
Do you come out and measure the space?
No. We plan from the photos and measurements you send, which is what keeps the service free. Take your time with the measurements and include anything fixed in the space, such as posts, steps, downpipes and the swing of a door.
Do you actually install the furniture?
Yes. Standard delivery is to your door at ground level and does not include assembly. Installation is a separate service that we quote alongside the layout, so you know the cost before you order.
How long does the layout take?
We reply within one business day of receiving your space. That reply confirms whether we have everything we need and tells you when the layout will be back with you.
Can you do a fitout for a cafe or a pub?
Yes. Send the floor plan and the number of covers you need. We work back from the seat count and the service lanes, then choose from the commercial rated part of the range.
What if the layout is not what I wanted?
Tell us what is wrong with it and we will redo it. There is no charge and no obligation to order at any point.
Do you deliver outside the capital cities?
Yes. We deliver to metro and regional addresses across Australia. Bulky items travel with specialist furniture couriers. Before you order a large setting, check your access, because doorways, lifts, stairs and tight corners are where deliveries go wrong.
