Most of our range is powder-coated aluminium, weather-resistant timber or UV-stabilised outdoor fabric. Wash with mild soapy water, rinse well and let everything dry before covering. Avoid harsh chemicals and pressure washers. Store or cover cushions through long wet spells. Any piece-specific care notes are in the product description.

New teak looks new. The Golden Care Vintage Teak Colour Protector takes it the other way.
The dark brown holds the colour of old or reclaimed teak for longer and helps hide sapwood. It also lets a teak table sit with the colour of wicker chairs and cushions. Other hardwoods take it as well.
Grey teak, or teak that has had teak-oil on it, must be cleaned first with Golden Care Teak and Hardwood Cleaner and Colour Restorer. New teak needs the same clean or two weeks weathering outside. Sand lightly if the wood feels rough.
What you get

- Water-based and non-greasy, with no hazardous VOCs
- Test a small area first, such as the back of a leg
- Two very thin coats, 30 minutes apart
- Treat at least once a year
Shake and stir it properly. Too little and the weathering comes out uneven.
