This hotplate is made from ceramic-coated cast iron and goes into a Crossray 4 burner gas BBQ in place of the grill plate. Vegetables, hamburgers and anything small enough to fall through the bars belong on it.
It is also required when you use a smoker box, and it assists with low and slow cooking.
