Care information
Care information
Most of our range is powder-coated aluminium, weather-resistant timber or UV-stabilised outdoor fabric. Wash with mild soapy water, rinse well and let everything dry before covering. Avoid harsh chemicals and pressure washers. Store or cover cushions through long wet spells. Any piece-specific care notes are in the product description.

Description
Description
Teak, pine, western red cedar and blackbutt all sit on the light side of the timber range.
Colourguard Light is made for that group, along with douglas fir and marri. It nourishes the timber and preserves the richness and natural colour of the wood. The pigment in it is a white transparent one, close to what goes into sunblock, so the character of the timber still shows.
It suits outdoor furniture, joinery, gates, fences, decking, pergolas and posts. Coverage runs 5 to 10 square metres per litre depending on how it goes on and how porous the surface is.
What you get
- For light coloured timbers such as teak and pine
- White transparent pigment, similar to sunblock
- Coverage 5 to 10 square metres per litre
- Re-coat on a regular basis
- At least one season fully exposed, up to 5 years sheltered
- Available in one litre
Leave the tinting and thinning alone. It performs best as it comes.
