Description
Searing a steak takes more heat than a main burner puts out, which is the job this infrared side burner does.
It drops into the benchtop of a custom outdoor kitchen and connects to natural gas. Use it for the sear, or keep a pan of sauce going on it while the main grill is busy. The unit measures 10 inches.
Marine-grade stainless steel matches the finish of the 700 Series built-in grills. The 7.5-mm cooking grids are virtually maintenance-free and give the WAVE sear marks. One hand lights it with the JETFIRE ignition system, and the backlit knob glows blue then red while the burner is on.
