This base weighs 25kg and is built from concrete and stainless steel. That mass is what holds a market umbrella down when the wind comes through the yard. An aluminium cover in a gloss granite look sits over the top, so the part you see is a finished surface.
Moving it is straightforward. Four wheels take the weight and two brakes stop it wandering on a smooth deck. Inset handles give you a grip. Plastic adaptors drop into the stainless steel tube for a 3.8cm or 4.8cm pole.
