Not every umbrella base has to look like a lump of concrete.
This one carries a gloss timber look finish on its aluminium cover. Next to a timber deck or a timber dining table it reads as part of the setting. The weight is 25kg, and the weight is the part that keeps the umbrella standing.
Under the cover the build is concrete and aluminium. A stainless steel tube runs through the middle, with plastic adaptors so it takes a 3.8cm or 4.8cm umbrella pole. Four wheels move it and two brakes hold it still. Inset handles give you a grip at either side.
