No pole. No base. This umbrella mounts straight to the wall.
That makes it an option for a balcony, a deck or a narrow spot where a base would eat the floor space. The umbrella hangs on a mounting track. Once the track is up you can slide the umbrella left or right along it, to wherever the shade is needed.
Opening is a push up and a lock. There are no cranks, no cords and no pulleys. The canopy is O'bravia canvas rated UPF50, which is 98% UV protection, and it measures 300 x 150cm.
