Covering the setting as one keeps the top clean. This is the large rectangular size for a 7 piece setting. Corner buckles and drawstrings hold the cover against the frame so wind cannot lift it.
420gsm fabric does the protecting. It is waterproof against heavy rain, breathable so nothing stays damp underneath, and mildew resistant. The UV-resistant coating works against fading and is backed by a 2 year UV warranty.
The table is the part you notice. Marks, dust and water spots all show on the top, and covering the setting as one is what stops them.
