Keep it low as a coffee table most of the time. Raise it when you want to eat in front of the lounge. The change takes an instant, so it happens as often as you want it to.
An in built hydraulic system does the work. Lift the lever and the top moves from 50cm to 71cm. Aluminium keeps it light in weight and low in upkeep.
