Most of our range is powder-coated aluminium, weather-resistant timber or UV-stabilised outdoor fabric. Wash with mild soapy water, rinse well and let everything dry before covering. Avoid harsh chemicals and pressure washers. Store or cover cushions through long wet spells. Any piece-specific care notes are in the product description.

Description
Fire bricks take the heat that would otherwise hit the steel sides of your wood heater.
They have low thermal conductivity, so heat does not pass through them. It reflects back into the firebox instead, which makes for a hotter and more efficient burn. The steel behind them lasts longer for it, and the fire itself runs better.
Bricks break down over time even so. Large cracks that leave a brick in several pieces are the sign to replace it, because heat then escapes and the sides of the firebox cop the temperature.
