Set into a wall or an existing fireplace, the Opal inbuilt wood heater covers up to 160m2.
It installs off the floor in a zero clearance application, or straight into a fireplace opening. The four sided surround frames the front once it is in. Sitting the heater in the wall keeps the floor clear and the fire out of the walking path. That coverage figure suits an average Australian home.
This is a convection heater built around a steel firebox. Efficiency is rated at 72% with 0.9g/kg emissions.
