Charcoal is the slow part of charcoal cooking.
The JETFIRE chimney starter speeds that up by concentrating the heat. Crumpled newspaper or paper towel goes in the underside. Charcoal fills the main chamber. Light the paper through the bottom vents and the rising heat lights the coals from the bottom up.
It is made from aluminized steel with a cool touch handle, though grill gloves are still recommended once it is hot. It holds enough charcoal to fill most charcoal barbecue grills and it folds down when you are done. For outdoor use only.
Load it with a few chunks of hardwood lump charcoal for smoking, or a full load when you want high heat for searing.
