This silicone mat gives all of it somewhere to sit. The silicone is heat resistant and non slip, so a hot pan stays where you put it rather than sliding to the edge. The Napoleon WAVE pattern and flame are set into the surface.
When things get messy the mat lifts straight off and goes into the dishwasher. The shelf underneath stays clean and safe.
It is sized for the side shelf, so it sits flat instead of hanging over the edge.
