A square metre of solid teak, Dreamland hangs as one piece at 1m x 1m.
The square format works where a rectangle leaves awkward gaps, such as above a low console, between two doorways or on a chimney breast. It reads as one block of teak rather than a collection of small things.
Square pieces need the same clearance top and bottom to look right, so measure both.
